SABRE® Intelligence Studio

The SABRE® Intelligence Studio is an addition to ESS Technology’s ESS Suite that provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for programming the 2nd generation Audio Signal Processor (ASP2) that is available in select devices.
Compatible evaluation boards provide access to this drag and drop, flow chart-like designer and the ASP2 can be programmed directly via I2C or from a SPI Flash IC.

Tuning Mode

Tuning mode in SI Studio allows for the “live” editing of coefficients in the integrated ASP2. When a value is changed in the software, a DMA (Direct Memory Access) command is sent via I2C to the device to update the ASP2 coefficient inside the device.
